California Watercolor Landscapes

One of my favorite streets in the East Bay is Market Street, where South Berkeley softly slides into North Oakland. Great little craftsman houses. I love to capture the faded glory of places like Market Street and these mansions in Willows, California. One can sense an older time, when these buildings were sparkling brand new and the latest thing in housing design. Now they remain, while the times have changed and people have moved on to a different way of life.
